Last weekend ladies 3, 5 and 6 went on a ‘trainings-weekend’ somewhere in Amsterdam. We started off Saturday in a quiet and cozy scouting building, which was obviously meant for children who are not yet allowed to drink, but anyway that didn't stop us. After lunch and some chit-chat we went for a 3hours long handball practice all the way across town. The whole weekend was about getting to know your new team and team members, but we also (re)discovered some hidden talents of a few girls and broke all time records. A few examples are: stuffing your cheeks with marshmallows, sitting against a wall for 20 minutes, building the highest human pyramid and the fattest human hamburger, chugging beers or put on more than 90 pieces of clothing. We also decided to roam the city streets at night searching for a date for our trainer Tim, a look-a-like or twin and tried to find someone who goes by the name Rachid. Unfortunately not all tasks were successful, so to make us feel any better we started a flashmob and partied in a silent disco club until the sun rose. Although this amazing weekend came to an end, we still have the memories of it (somewhat vague memories though) and a great season ahead of us, which we are all very much looking forward to!
